Enjoying Life ...

To celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary...
we took ourselves off to Gold Reef City
for the weekend...

they take good care of the little ones in this part of the park...

lots of water stations and a spot to cool off...

and we sure needed it :)

i was rather impressed with and happy about the

'all-in-good-fun' nature of the kids...no one was mean about things :) 

The Dodge 'em Cars was his ABSOLUTE favorite ride...

he just couldn't get enough...!!!

Bradley was issued with a life-jacket as there was no adult with them...

only other kids....I like !!! 

What i loved about these girls was that they appealed to me

to take my shot [of them] while i waited for mine to come floating past...

U could just tell they were ENJOYING LIFE :)

We had just walked into the park...

 and Brandon 'made me' go on this ride...

crazy but fun :)

We all went on rides we never thought we would ride...

we walked and walked and then walked some more...

We all laughed and talked and felt grateful ...

we applied sunblock and lots of it ...

we felt frightened together...calmed each others fears...

cheered each other on... held hands... felt happy and blessed...

in short.... we were ENJOYING family LIFE :)

Through Merita's Lens...

Very proud of Daniela she came second in high jump at the athletics meeting, even though she decided to scissor jump she jumped 1.08 meters.

My husband decided to buy my daughter a horse.  Daniela was so excited.  Worth it just to see her face when he showed her the horse …………….priceless.
